[...] Last Friday, spurred on by a shocking Channel 4 news report about the situation in Zimbabwe, I asked @downingstreet a question and received an answer within minutes. I was impressed, but my reply to their reply didn’t get a response. The reason, I suspect, was that I had started to drill down a bit more and any response given back would have indicated some kind of ’stance’ aside from The Official Line, or at least engaged them in a dialogue they were not willing to pursue. A quick seach of questions to @downingstreet using Summize shows that tweets are increasingly looking to delve into highly emotive political subjects, with many asking the kind of direct questions they would love to if they caught Gordon Brown waiting to cross a busy road at the traffic lights.
I saw Ken Livingstone on the tube today, as I do most days since he lives in my neighbourhood (NW2).

He has always been a keen supporter on the tube back when he was a lowly MP for Brent South.

I don't blame him for not riding as it would be a 7-8 mile journey for him each way and he'd be running the gauntlet of London taxicab and minicabs all the way home, which would be more dangerous than the average cyclist, based on Ken's standing with the four-wheeled community.

But I'm happy to bet we don't see many other high profile politicos riding the tube on a regular basis!

Two wheels good.....

Nice shot! There should be some sort of regulation where you shout "I spy parliamentarians!" and everyone gets off and waves their helmet about. (And talking about shooting .... ;-) )

haha This is great! I love Meat Loaf, though I'm a little weirded out by the recent commercial he's done. Still, very funny chart up there. No "that" in the equation at all!
