We sent out our first ’social media news release’ yesterday, for the launch of the ITV2 winter schedule. Welcome news that ITV is going to be part of the much anticipated ‘Project Kangaroo’. As well as making 4OD redundant you could argue that it threatens to do the same to much of the content of the other channels’ websites. Bebo’s move to offer free content from major broadcasters including the BBC and record labels on a series of media channels makes a lot of sense.
